Admissions, Session Times & Fees

Find out how to register and see the sessions we run

Parents can register their children with the Preschool as soon as they are 18 months old. In order to use the preschool every child must be registered even if they attend only occasionally. There is a registration fee of £5.00 for 2 year olds. Children who are 3 years old and who qualify for Free Entitlement Funding do not have to pay a registration fee as this is dealt with by Free Entitlement.

We have a set number of places per session for 2 year olds. There will never be more than six 2 year olds in any one session. The rest of the places in a session are for three or four year olds.

When a place comes available that place will be offered to the first child on the register who has had their 2nd or 3rd birthday, depending on whether it is a 2 year old place or a 3 year old place. Parents can refuse the place without losing their place in the register, but the place will be offered to the next child on the register and we cannot guarantee that another place will become available.

Details of any on-going medical condition and medication which the child is prescribed will be recorded on the Registration Form. Any special dietary needs will also be recorded on the Registration Form.

It is the intention of the Preschool to apply a fair, unbiased admissions policy. Places are offered on a first come, first served basis, strictly taken from the waiting list in accordance with staff/pupil ratio.

If you would like to register your child or have any further queries, please call us on 01491 671910 or email us at
